I really slept on SPIDER BABY. Great exploitation flick w/ knowing humour (“…Mr. Shocker”/“Actually, it’s Schlocker”) + pitch perfect performances (including a young Sid Haig). Chaney Jr. comes off utterly sincere in his love for these sickos. Would have been a totally different movie without him.

Underrated spooky album. “Werewolves of London” is the most obvious Halloween classic but “Excitable Boy” is actually the most macabre track.

There’s an adaptation of Bentley Little’s THE CONSULTANT on Prime and it’s pretty fun. Christoph Waltz feels like he walked into a worse show and weirded it up; he gets lots of delightfully bizarre, menacing lines.
