I had a (very late admittedly) realization last night that Harris kept her last name after marriage and it's a non-issue. Even in this tradwife moment nobody seems to care about it!

I think I remember Doug mentioning that Joe Biden was a real friend who helped him navigate his new life as First Gentleman after he had to give up his law practice and basically define himself as her husband. That had to be jarring, but they seem to have handled it so well.
