While we're on the topic of switching platforms...If anyone is interested in moving from Windows but don't know which Linux distro to get/try first, please look into "Mint" or "Ubuntu" For USB: Get VenToy, it lets you load .iso files and either live-boot or install your distros/OSs WAY easier imo
