In a Violent Nature (2024): I’ve always described horror as the cinematic equivalent of jazz standards: the melodies never change, just the arrangements. If that’s true, then In a Violent Nature is as soulful a rendition of ‘80s slashers as could possibly exist. Great movie.
Hearing this makes me very happy. Pretty sure we are seeing it Thursday
