Seeing #StarWars#ThePhantomMenace on the big screen again was a great experience. It really is a visual feast and so action-packed. Loved every minute and I’m glad some younglings were enjoying it in the theatre for the first time.
#StarWars#TheAcolyte looks fantastic. If the one scene and trailer I watched is anything to go by, we’re in for some amazing action scenes and a slew of fabulous new characters. Plus, more Jedi! I cannot wait to tune in on June 4 for the premiere.
The 25th anniversary screening of #StarWars#ThePhantomMenace#TheAcolyte. I’ve avoided all promos, as I usually do for something I’m going to watch, but couldn’t resist staying on to catch the short scene and the trailer.

Let’s not forget that a lot of the VFX and behind-the-scenes innovations for #StarWars#ThePhantomMenace have influenced filmmaking since then. So really, stop hating on the film unnecessarily.
#StarWars#ThePhantomMenace isn’t a perfect film—but it explored the political situation of the time while still being an utterly thrilling ride. And it still feels like a relevant reflection of the politics of today. It’s a reminder why art (made by real people) is important and should endure.
And nothing beats the score of #StarWars#ThePhantomMenace. I love a lot of film scores, but this one means so much to me. It has so much variety. I especially love it because the music purposefully cuts out or is silenced at particular times during the film to give the sound effects the spotlight.

Qui-Gon and Obi’s relationship is so layered even though we know so little about them. I thought they made for a delightful odd couple and amazing protagonists. Qui-Gon is so kindly, you can see why Obi would love him despite his eccentricities. #StarWars#ThePhantomMenace
