I always wondered why anyone would care that someone else would know they blocked someone.

I do get a twinge when I'm reminded others can see who I've blocked, because then people might think I block people with Good Opinions and therefore I must be a Bad Person with bad opinions but the vibe here is it's fine to block anyone for any reason even if it's petty.
