I can’t believe it, but I’m nearly there!!! ✨ All that’s left is the tail, placing the decals, and putting it all together. It’s just insane. ✨ My thoughts for applying the decals are to place them on before putting together the entire body? For all you #gunpla experts, is that a good idea?

It depends on the shape of the part and its placement on the runner. If it doesn't have a lousy angle, then I may do it well ahead of time. Sometimes it's easier to smooth out positioning. Other times I may trim the part off first or fully assemble it.

So many snips from the build on my floor! Looks hilarious to me. Mind you this is from just my second sitting. I vacuumed up the first pass, so it wouldn’t look worse haha

i do that! it feels easier to handle than putting it together before adding the decals, but whichever works for you!
