Danganronpa, purely because it is a game that truly solidified my relationship with my boyfriend haha. It was a game he shared with me one of the first years of us dating and we bonded immensely over the plot twists and turns. He really enjoyed watching me freak out over it <3
The Witness. Kind of a niche one, if you don't know about it, but what a beautiful and CONFUSING puzzle game hahaha. The amount of hidden shapes and puzzles is overwhelming, but the hunt for em is ADDICTIVE. I do hope they make something like it again someday. It was very satisfying solving stuff.
Oh my god how could I forget Final Fantasy Ten. That is my childhood sweetheart of a game. Gimme that advanced sphere grid any day of the week and tons of fuckin orbs and ill be skipping around as I please. I loved the fuck out of that game and you can bet your ASS I looked up cheats.
Grounded! Also a game made by the people who made New Vegas. A tiny world where youre a teen who's been shrunken down and tossed into someones insane backyard. The plot is wild and the atmosphere is fantastic. Fighting bugs has never been more entertaining when you become a badass garden survivalist
Fallout New Vegas. My hometown is Vegas, and to see a game growing up that was literally about where I was currently living had me doing backflips. It was so close to the actual map of where I lived that I was just immersed in a weird wasteland of survival and exploration, I loved it.
Animal Well. A rather recent game but astonishing in its execution and creativity. Never thought you could use childrens toys in so many unique and unexpected ways. The puzzles were almost scary, and at times the atmosphere was so good I just simply stopped to admire the scenery. And the MUSIC.
Portal 2. Definitely was groundwork in my mind for my love of puzzle games. Problem solving and pattern recognition is just so deeply enjoyable to me when it comes to unique and beautiful games like that. It really holds a special place in my heart as such an amazing franchise that keeps growing.
