I've seen this site get some more activity after bad twitter changes before, but nothing like this latest wave. It makes me cautiously optimistic that this place will really take off properly among FFXIV players this time.
Its definitely not without its flaws, but I think it still brings a lot of cool ideas to the table and can still be enjoyable, even if its not going to be everyone's cup of tea.
The music is definitely one of my favourite things about it, and probably the main reason I put it on this list. I think its a fairly competent souls like that sometimes gets judged too harshly for being "Anime Souls" (although it does use a lot of anime tropes, so maybe not unfairly).

I think in terms of features, it still leaves something to be desired in a fair number of places compared to twitter. That said, the vibe here is better by such a huge margin that I'll happily deal with the less developed features if it means I don't actively hate using this site.

If I could make a private account here, I would. But I can't so at the least, that account is *one* thing I prefer about twitter. In any case, I hope people will understand my desire to be selective about followers. My boundaries are just very important to me, so I prefer to play things safe.
