Hi PNWers, Please remember to kill brown marmorated stink bugs (BMSB) on sight. DO NOT relocate. KILL. They are an invasive species that is doing tremendous ecological damage. If you wish to avoid the stench, knock them in a cup full of soapy water to kill them.
ID is important! THIS babers is native were I live (Rough Stink Bugs Genus Brochymena - western montana). Lots of people just start killing everybody who like similar. Their 'noses' look quite different, BMSB = blunt 'nose'. One guice: ipm.ucanr.edu/natural-enem...

Thank you. I usually try to relocate spiders but these bugs kinda gross me out. Now I don’t feel bad squishing them.

I crushed one with gusto last night. It always surprises me how much they actually stink.
They are everywhere here, yesterday I killed at least 20. Hate them and they get into everything. Worst bug ever.
