If you're anti-AI for artists then I need you to PLEASE share that same energy for writers. It's so discouraging to see artists who are very loudly anti-ai turn around and show snippets from ch@racter ai 'roleplays.' Where do you think they learned how to automate those chars?

i remember seeing this tiktok of a person who could see their friend drifting away bc they preferred spending time on their character ai chat than their irl friends 😭 it's parasocial to a next level

It's honestly so disappointing how quickly folks normalized using those character ai apps, even while being vocally anti-ai art. Especially as someone who's been part of an RP community for over a decade — writing with a real person is so much more engaging and it doesn't trash the environment 🫠
