I am curious if the poster took easily expected steps like calling the board of elections, or the league of women voters - folks who might have (and want to share) whatever information might exist about possible ballot questions like this?
ChatGPT made a lot more sense to me when I stopped thinking of it as a source of knowledge and started seeing it as a too-eager-to-help classmate who has only done half the readings but is good at making up plausible stories.
If you're in the extra rounds of penalties, you've already had so many chances to avoid that situation. Gotta take care of business so the referee doesn't get a chance to make a decision like this.
I'm not sure if you're in the stadium or not - but the broadcast team has relayed a statement from the VAR/officials that because Amundsen's kick missed without the goalkeeper saving it, the goalkeeper's actions didn't impact anything - so there's no need to retake. TIL...
Yeah, I'm surprised that they didn't re-take that. I'm not sure what the threshold is, but it sure seemed like he was clearly off his line. Regardless, Columbus had plenty of chances to avoid penalties. Leaving it up to the ref is always risky.
I'm a little surprised at that, especially given all the time lost when their player was down with an injury in stoppage time. Of course, games have also seen a final whistle while the ball is flying in from the corner flag, so...
...Ahem :-) Amundsen proves the point. Still just over 10 minutes to play, and #Crew96 are back level in a _very_ noisy stadium.
I liked a lot of that sequence - good pressure, very dynamic. But Amundsen joined another player pushing too far over, and nobody saw their attacker before it was too late.
