Has someone defecated in your breakfast? Not that it matters to anyone but it’s probably worth remembering that when you openly say “not a single bit of civic society” it does in fact equal “no bit of civic society”. It’s almost as though everyone should apologise for quoting you.

No-one’s shat in my breakfast, I’m just having to dismiss silliness in order to excuse make for what is to reiterate, a paid and funded campaign! It’s in fact okay to compare them with, e.g. the Association of British Orchestras and note the differences. They aren’t your friend, they’re a campaign.
