It’s called the ocean cuteness horseshoe, or OCHS (pronounced oochz). OCHS summarizes the cuteness distribution, with highest values at the surface & deepsea. High cuteness at depth is due to greater frequency of round and/or blobness. Unlike surface cuteness, deep cuteness is dangerous to boop.
