A lot of people like to hope for remakes of well beloved classics. Though if anything, I think there's much more value in taking an AWFUL game instead and remaking it into something amazing. Can we have more of that?

the entire spectrum of remakes is so interesting to talk about to me bc on one end if a game's already great, it doesn't really need to be touched up too much besides qol changes and bugfixes, but on the other, id love to see games that aren't great get reimagined and modernised to fulfil the vision

I'd say that there's potential for a Soccer Kid remake, the ball physics work and are pretty fun, it's just the level design and the controls that leave a lot to be desired. A polished port or even a remake could be nice!
