Finally got power back (and water since I'm on a well) and my life is beginning to return to normal. Spent yesterday doing wellness checks for Buncombe County, but today I've got to get this mess back under control. Looking forward to cleaning the house probably for the first time in my life.

Many of my friends are doing wellness checks, and impossible roads make it very slow going.
You can't fully appreciate how our roads here twist and climb. Washouts are common, and many roads are the sole access to a community. Many that are "up the hollar" are generational families in homes on long-time family land, making this a very personal tragedy when lives are lost.
Swap the data cable if you didn't replace it during install. If it bsod, post pics. 😆
As soon as I can, I'm replacing all my toilets with a gravity fed low flow dual flush toilet. Seriously, I'm using more water to flush than cooking or drinking. Off to the creek to get more toilet water..🙂↕️😌
