World of Warcraft's worldbuilding prizes the Kaldorei Empire and the Dragons above the Trolls and Tauren, and even though the Troll Empire predates the Kaldorei, its lore is considered consistently inferior to the elves, where Keepers/Dragons did not seem to care for the Trolls.

I wish they took care of dragon lore. Elf lore at least gets a kiss goodnight while Dragons are often left in the cold or villainbatted for gospel fantasy reasons (slaying dragons)

So much of the worldbuilding is elf centric even in concepts or timelines. To the point, some of what we know might not even be elven terminology but ppl just think it is. Like people thinking wild gods is elven when it’s just neutral. Like do we even have other names for the Sundering?

I'm very salty that War of the Scaleborn had a whole section dedicated to coming up with visages when interacting with trolls and we didn't get even a crumb of concept art. Imagine how cool and varied the troll aspects would look.

(It's even funnier when the Sethrak also predate the elves, and... well, you know how I feel about that..)
