Not that it wasn't already a bit scary... a good friend (mid-50s, active and outdoorsy, non-smoker) recently had a defib and pacemaker fitted, because of heart issues caused by a fairly mild case of Covid. I too know someone who needed two heart operations after her first case of covid.
