I think what’s really gonna happen is most of that stuff will go to the landfill. My our mother died, my sister and I kept a few things that meant something to us personally, and a few things with practical value to us. Most of the rest was cleared out and junked. Almost nothing was sold.

Boomers spent their lives accumulating stuff. Now their kids are stuck with it.
Baby boomers spent decades buying stuff. Now they have to have difficult conversations with their kids about what to keep and what to throw away.
