I tried applying for webdev jobs with my UI prog skills some three years ago, and got absolutely nowhere. Now I'm back in games as a contractor, and much happier overall. It's tough out there 🙈

I can imagine the situation in web dev isn't great either 😄 But good to hear that the long way around led you to the right place in the end!
