Yep. This is problem. The use that word instead of accuracy or efficiency.
The biggest mistake we've made is to use the word "intelligence" to describe what are basically large-scale pattern-recognition and -reproduction tools. And from there, all the anthropomorphic language describing them grows, but also suggests they do more than what they're designed to do.
My youngest has autism. Smart as a whip, but can already see that regular classroom and him are going to struggle. Granted I am in a different state, but if you have any resources, I would be interested. Right now he is in 4th grade, so likely wouldn’t do a change yet.

I see a potential problem of the models are too focused on creative answer. They aren’t putting extra value on scientific and educational material. They are likely competing with the likes of fiction and conspiracies.
I don’t think we as a society have done the learning that is needed. Companies like TikTok need us, not the other way around. And if there’s a market, which there appears to be, there will be another social media company that pops up to fill that need.
