In a small space they are great. If you are in then on all the time but if out for most the time short hot bursts. This is all my opinion, I've never sat down and worked it out, would feel far too much like teaching my GCSE muppets.

My 15yo daughter has got FIFTEEN pieces of homework. It's madness. Just stop it. She manages because we can support her, she has a quiet place to work, and she's pretty self-motivated. But children who don't have those things? There's the gap opening up right there.
I hate having to set homework. I never make a fuss if it isn't done. If I had the option I wouldn't set it. Typically mine are set for an hour but sshhh! they typically take about 10 minutes.😉
