Ah, we stayed not far from Negembo and did a trip to Galle! The north of the island is where we want to explore. Dambulla caves are a must, but the steps up are a killer (200 steps but they are deep and it's hot!)

Absolutely agree. That's amazing to travel there every Easter. We might try an Easter trip at some point - where we stayed was quite quiet as they said it was put of season 🙅♀️
