and then they inexplicably got Michael Howard. Oh well, hopefully it will give Labour a clear run and time to get shit sorted.
They got Michael Howard because he was unopposed, and though in 2005 he increased the Tory vote by less than 1pp with him as leader they gained 33 seats from Lab. Cleverly might be picked by Tory MPs for a similar reason.
