Yeah I agree - I will say that I quite liked The Rise and Fall of DODO, and I enjoyed Termination Shock too.

I liked both of those too. I was nervous about Termination Shock after the Dodge fiasco, but it was focused and tight (as much as anything he does, at least). Cryptonomicon remains my favorite (despite my disputes with its promotion of the gold standard).
