I hate this notion that we’re supposed to prove something about ourselves by being deeply concerned about the well-being of people who want us dead or in cages. That’s not how my decency is packaged.

I don’t feel compelled to prove I’m morally superior to Nazis.

It's like there's a third imaginary group that will be mad if you don't play nice with the nazi and we must appease them at all cost!

My decency is for the decent. These other people? I am opposed to their physical-well being.

He's raped, commited treason & is a career fraudster. He's responsible for 100s of thousands of covid deaths thru deliberate lies. He's half-wrecked truth in this country. His ear got clipped. 2 things can be true at the same time: 1. Political violence never okay 2. DGAF about the minor injury
