Under Trump, we saw true abandonment after Hurricane Maria. We saw 3,000 people die unnecessarily. Many people will be found dead in the coming days, but it won't be because the government wasn't trying to save people. You don't have to like Biden or the .gov (I don't) to admit this distinction.

There is an eco-fascist narrative afoot right now. It starts with how "they" (Biden, the .gov, Jewish people, etc) control the weather, and it ends with the South being left for dead (the myth of white genocide). Do not play into this fascist myth-making that will be used to justify real atrocities.

I don't think that it helps to personalize this as a difference between Trump and Biden. Both are horrible people: the difference between institutional disaster response in Puerto Rico and Asheville is primarily built into US colonial arrangements, not primarily because of who is in charge.

They gave 8 billion dollars to Israel to keep doing a genocide and a fraction of a fraction of that to aid with the hurricane. It's very clear to anyone with eyes where the democrats priority lies, and it's not with helping anyone.
