That’s a dubious argument given the role politicians hold in a democracy to direct and control the military. Going to war , any war, should never be a ‘set and forget’ matter for politicians who are accountable to the people.

Outback Steakhouse, isn’t a thing in Australia. Its definitely ‘Unaustralian’ ( a true Aussie insult…) It’s something 99.9% of Aussies only know about if an American friend asks them …
