Back when if you were a political candidate for state elections at least moderators would pay extra attention to make sure your account integrity could be safe; these days, specially for left, twitter can be a safety threat. I think its ridiculous that left has to accept that same 1930's hate and if you respond to it Elon deems it critical. Granted he owns the platform and can thus make his own rules as he pleases. But I do not wish to be hated for nothing other than be a dutch labour candidate. The purging of Alan MacCleod literally makes of more ethical but not by much
Big follower accounts just need to accept it's over and start posting somewhere else. I get that it's hard and they built-up their profile there but it was over the day Musk took over. That's life, move on. 👍🏻
If you're still going back and forth between the two sites the thing you need to do now, like this very instant: 1) lock your account by making it private 2) delete the Twitter mobile app from your phone. Seriously do it right now, I'll wait!

That old app removed my access because i didn't set up secondary authentication - i used username and passwords for my accts. i was critical of what's his face and others. i wrote in for help regaining access to no avail. I wasn't a heavy user, but prior they ruined my algorithm / experience anyways
It’s frustrating because a lot of really great infosec news is still dropped there, so I feel like I need to check it every couple days. Hopefully a critical mass moves over soon and this (or somewhere else) becomes the primary source, but right now it is a big UGH.
