No, not that I rember. To be fair I don't care a tone about the DOW as I think its a crappy indicator of how average ppl are doing, but I don't remember seeing stories about it being that high

i really do believe there is anxiety and frustration around the economy right now that is not being correctly handled by our various information institutions (news media, politicians included) the media is framing every bit of good news as bad, which is actively making the *real* disconnect worse

I literally cannot recall a single "look at these incredible economic numbers" story - and there have been a number - that wasn't framed with "and here's why that's bad news for Biden" it's not even a joke it's just true
