There was a hilariously inept article slamming ALMO in, of all places, New York Review of Book, a few weeks ago. I stopped reading 1/2 way thru, but I think the gist was that he was too soft on crime and sharply rebutted his critics - erm, stifled free speech.
And striking how much ink gets spilt in the US on the policy "ideas" of tinpot rightists like Viktor Orban in comparison to AMLO and Lula, who are generally treated here like they're third world curiosities instead of leaders of some of the world's largest and fastest growing economies.
