Their core base are also radical Evangelical Christians who want the Government to force their gender beliefs on the whole country too, so that's also a "win" for them, as awful as it is.

I think we underestimate the efficacy of these ads at our peril. They're not going to swing Harris voters to Trump, but I'd bet they play really well for a lot of the frustrated former Republican voters who would otherwise sit this one out or vote 3rd party instead of voting for Trump.

The WSJ article that revealed his funding of Stephen Miller's PAC to run ads advocating for anti-Trans pogroms was careful not to directly imply causality but the article did mention that the funding started shortly after his daughter publicly announced her break with him.
