My cover to Fantastic Four # 10 out, uh, soon? Probably my favorite thing I’ve drawn this year so far.
..And this was like 1995 when everyone was a clone everybody else and comic art was suffering for it. Stelfreeze was on another level then and still is.
Hard to be a black comic artist and. It have a road leading back to Stelfreeze! Lol. But yeah, the purple and gold palettes he was working with then are burned into my mind.

This is much more a social app than a networking one, but I need all the editors and other publishing folks with hiring power to go on and look through the Black visual artist and Black writers threads. Don't turn around and say you can't find us when it's time to hire talent. We're here, en force.
Shadow of the Bat # 38 by Brian Stelfreeze is what made me want to become a cover artist. …Though Steve Lightle and Mike Mignola on Classic Xmen were a close runner up.
