The book concludes that Hamas is not fully islamic, in that it abandons all secular paths, and its not fully authoritarian as it listens to its people. It is interesting to reflect on this in relation to the previous book's lens: operating as a government in a colonized land.

In summation, Hamas is a complex org with a complex history. They are certainly not the cartoonishly evil group as depicted by the west. They serve as an example for Marxist orgs, from their adherence to demcent, their pragmatic approach, and their connection with the masses.
