What else do you imagine one person can do? He's put together a foundation for funding indies with climate goals. He's prolific in his posting about it. Not sure what you expect him to do? The question is, what are our useless pollies doing?

I love that clip. She's always been a crack up. I miss those days of comedy. It barely even exists now. This particular clip was a reminder they're all still around. Just not as prolific. What happened to us? Did our society lose it's sense of humour?

I don't tend to include a bio. Never had one in 15 years on Twitter. A profile photo & Banner pic though is pretty basic. When they've never posted, I'm always a bit suss. Ppl like that on Twitter are usually bots or trolls.
Yep. It seems to have the feel Twitter used to have way back before it turned into troll central. We used to have gangs of fun with threads that went on for days, sometimes weeks. Just everyone having a laugh. Now it feels like a shooting gallery.

I didn't really notice. When I joined I just noted a tsunami of cat pics one after the other. Still getting a handle on this place. Plenty of real cats & some cartoonish ones. Seems to be getting less as I interact & follows.
Thanks. Just trying to get the hang of this place. Have been DM'ing my peeps over yonder and we're finding each other here. This looks a lot like Twitter but has some quirks I'm not familiar with. Live & learn. Lots of peeps with helpful advice so far. Cheers
