I'm really surprised by how simple self hosting content seems to be!? Especially considering how complicated it felt to properly implement ActivityPub stuff when I was giving Mastodon a shot.

The AT Protocol docs have improved big time since my last visit. My goal is to start self-hosting my social media posts at some point and it seems that's going to be much easier than I thought. atproto.com/guides/self-...

I went last year and it was honestly my all-time fav tech conference. I made so many friends; great vibes all around. I couldn't get the budget from work this year to go, but I'm sure this year will be just as good! Have fun!!!

Not sure yet if it's worth buying the book twice. I had a bunch of audible credits to use so thought I'd give it a shot.

ADHD reading hack: listen to the audiobook version of the book while also reading the book. Insane levels of reading comprehension and focus going on right now.

I've been lurking here for a day or so and the vibe is noticeably better than it is on Mastodon. Less "academic" which I'm definitely okay with. That said, it feels 100x more "Beta" than Mastodon. The Mastodon android app is infinitely better than the bluesky app.
