I'd say there is, at any given time, like a *pretty* good chance I'm working on a drawing of Yorda. (Some of which have never seen the light of day.) I just like her, I don't know. She's definitely one of the handful of characters I can draw reference-free at this point. Finished this last weekish.

You might be surprised to learn the American version was the 'original'. Or at least it was the first. It was developed by a third party packaging firm that Sony hired. Team ICO later made the Japanese/European box art themselves when the game was ready to release in Japan that December.

Sony's American Branch wanted the game out sooner and that determined the fate of the game's box art in the states. Since Team ICO was too busy developing the game they weren't finished with, Sony entrusted the packaging (box art and manual design) to a third-party.
