修了展沢山のお客様ご覧いただきありがとうございました。 塵芥漁象図/RUIN 自然界の過酷な環境の中、日々懸命に生きる象たち。そこにさらに追い討ちをかけ脅かしているのが環境破壊。象たちは、生きるために必死で、塵をも食す。このままではいずれも「一寸先は闇」でしかない。 スリランカでゴミを食べて死んでる象がいる事、死体を解剖すると中からたくさんのゴミが出てきたという記事が去年2023年の夏にあったことが背景になっています。 今元気な象もいづれこうなるかもしれない、今の現代の問題の危機を表現したと共にこういった状態が少しでも無くなる世の中であって欲しいという願いを込めた作品でもあります。

雪虫と椿/Snow Bug and Camellia 470×470mm 2022年 椿の花、落ちずに最後の時まで迎えた椿の花。最後まで人生を全うする美しさを讃えているかのように、飛び回る雪虫の空気感を表現(Camellia flower, a camellia flower that has reached its last moment without falling. The airy feeling of snow bugs flying around, as if celebrating the beauty of fulfilling life to the end.)
