Oh interesting! I actually own this game. It was one of two games my mom bought for me in the late 1980’s at Big Lots from the $1 bin. The other was Dark Chambers. I never ended up playing either because I already had an NES by that time! Maybe I’ll give this one a shot finally…

The real Star Raiders II. I’ll admit it made no sense to me as a kid but as an adult it’s an incredibly impressive game.

I, too, still suffer from a not insignificant amount of flashing red space zone with inverted controls PTSD.
