I guess time will tell.

Bro really sent an actual sat to orbit around Jupiter and take pics, just so he could pretend to do impossibly sick stuff like this procedurally in Blender... smh 🙄

...but vandalism is a symptom of public unrest... I don't know what to tell you. Public sympathy for this kind of stunt will only increase until the inciting problem is adressed. You could jail every member of Just Stop Oil tomorrow, and others would just pick up where they left off.

Fun fact : housing insurance prices in France are apparently going up 10-15% next year because of the amount of houses destroyed by floods and landslides last year. "Just stop oil" sounds like a good plan right now.

Nintendo doesn't want us to know that, but there's a mod for that ! It's called "Zelda's Ballad" and it lets you play as Zelda and remodels all the outfits for her. It even changes dialog text throughout the game so it sort-of kind-of makes sense in the story !

If you truly think the unrest I'm referring to will only come from "the group I'm defending", and not the general population, then I have bad news for you. Climate change doesn't selectively affect only members of Just Stop Oil.

I'm not saying what they're doing is popular, I'm telling you harsher punishments is how you make things worse. If spilling soup on a piece of glass already gets you two years, then some will think they might as well make it worth the time and go down doing real damage.

More games need a slider between the two extremes and all characters having access to all outfits. And hairstyles. You better not gender-lock my hairstyles !

I feel like you're missing the point. Environment action consistently polls high, yet elected officials disregard that for personal gain. When people run out of legal ways to make their complaints heard, this is what happens. Harsher punishments will only increase unrest in the long term.

I feel like the entire point of doing it again is showing people they won't be intimidated into submission by harsh punishments. Harsher punishments won't stop them, tackling climate change will.
