one of the greatest experiments ever was that octopus they tried to teach word associations to who could not get any of them but at night when nobody was there and camera was rolling it nailed them all perfectly- just refused to give these humans the attention they didnt deserve
one of my more crazy theories is that in the future, if we don't destroy the climate first, we're going to have to come to terms with the fact that octopi, elephants, whales, and many primates are quite intelligent and have some sort of inter-species counsel for the shared custodianship of earth

I have heard that mantids observed eating their mates during sex may have to do with anxiety brought on by having a giant eye present & staring at them while engaged in the act, rather than it being typical mating behavior. Heisenberg was right.
