Like you, Amy, I grew up in CT, and NYC was like Disneyland. I would go there any time by myself, then and now.

Good thing you were able to escape the crime ridden, hell hole, over run by marauding immigrants that have invested our city, good thing you are safe! I’m being sarcastic, bc that’s what Trump and the GOP want to portray the greatest city in America as! It’s not a hell hole, it’s a delight to visit!

It’s just always felt very safe &wonderful 2 me and my sons. Maybe I’m naive, but I’d rather them enjoy the city then live in constant fear of the GOPs boggie man. What R they going 2 get off of teens, 20 bucks, an MTA card? Whatever, it’s a safe, beautiful, truly amazing city w everything 2 offer:)

I’ve never felt unsafe taking my guys, now as teens they go on their own and I still feel they are safe and fine. It’s sad the extremist rhetoric has portrayed it as a hell hole, it’s just not the case!
