Hah that’s an interesting approach. Literal masking. Turning off self-view in the video helps a bit. So much of what I have to do is video based, and while I’m glad it all comes to my home, I wish it was real people coming over. I’d make tea and wouldn’t even worry if it was frowned upon to drink it

Me too. Somehow it’s worse online (or recording). Zoom is the pinnacle of messing up. When I was promoting my book, I asked for interview questions in advance (for multiple reasons, this included). I talk to myself out loud *all the time*. I can’t even imagine what an internal monologue is like.

I didn’t tell my family. Told a few of my closest friends. For reasons like this. Now I’m writing about ADHD and spirituality from a lived experience perspective, so it will be obvious to anyone who reads my work - but fortunately that’s not many people :D The ADHD reactionary discourse is terrible
