True. We, like most libraries, actively support reading books on phones - we supply the library reading apps and the ebooks.
I did a 60-70 minute transit commute for years. Now it’s 5 minutes. I do not want to go back.

Our book club liked Deacon King Kong, but the two of us who listened to it LOVED it. The character voices were so distinct and funny and essential to the atmosphere. I wouldn’t have gotten all the voices reading it.
This n the other hand, I listened to The Good Lord Bird, and that was amazing.
Sometimes, I run across a book on social media and think, “the library users will be interested in this” and add it to the library’s ordering list. Like this post.
It’s also one of the most cheering part of working in a library! Many kids today are reading, and their eyes light up with joy at finding good books.
