and those people will not accept that things are more complicated than any "simple" solution they think they have.
like sometimes you see people say things that are completely untethered to the reality of the region, imagining a magic solution that will fix everything or buying into things that are unrealistic but offer them comfort, or punishment for the "bad guys"
