So @mouthchomper.bsky.social I tried out KoF XIII: GlobalMatch and it looks incredible but its systems are so unforgiving I’m having a hard time finding the fun. I’ve had the same problem with all SNK fighters that aren’t named SamSho or LastBlade.

A combo based fighter that punishes you for doing inputs before the cancel window. Like that’s hard enough but add that you have to learn 3 characters. Brutal. Doesn’t help that I switched back to GGST after which is the probably the best feeling fighter of all time.

Have you played 15 any? Feels a lot more forgiving to me. (And honestly 13 feels a fair bit more forgiving than 2002UM or any of the earlier ones. I can't hope to do any combo with any consistency in those.)
