In other words, Professor Michael Briggs believes he can identify trans people on sight, doesn't see trans people when he walks down the street, therefore they don't exist
Love when people misunderstand statistics like that. 1% doesn't mean every village has a token trans person lol.
'Professor'. 🤔 So, there's an academic environment that currently pays for his gross biases - statistical & social.
I rarely walk anywhere for fear of abuse and attack. I avoid public transport too. I guess he can't spot trans women like me when driving past in my car.
I don't see anyone I think looks like a professor when I walk down the street, so I guess Michael doesn't fucking exist either
"we can always tell"

'some people may have misunderstood'. I'm sorry, but some people may misunderstand anything and everything. Low bar. This is all over 262k people, approx 0.5% of the population of the UK. That number is fully in line with other estimates in, for example, the US and other countries
First he thinks all the trans people have actually transitioned (the Q was about whether your identity differs from your assigned sex, not if you've transitioned), he thinks they all feel safe to walk in the street, and then he thinks they are all identifiable on sight. What an imbecile.
