I’m going to be real here: Goff has a dumb brain

[under breath] I mean he’s kinda right about both logical positivism and philosophical expertise not getting any respect

If I were a public philosopher publicly philosophising I might bother to briefly summarise the reason why baby philosophers don't believe in logical positivism instead of just whining about my lack of authority

I just skimmed his wiki page, and am instantly reminded of Estlund's anecdote that his students observed any philosophical argument can be translated into "so what?" and "oh really?"

If I was an analytic philosopher that pivoted to public philosophy, I wouldn’t keep saying stupid things, but that’s me. Maybe Goff keeps saying stupid things because Goff thinks stupid things sound smart
