Why did the NYTimes have to NYTimes this by ending the piece with a quote from the dumbass from Enterprise who incorrectly asserts that "many people can afford the care they have with the assets they have, the income they have and their supports from family"? Far more people can't! That's the point!

Key word there is assets. No wealth to pass to children in that case and potentially it’s the child’s assets too
