Both Dean and Melanie are possessive of Kit for their own reasons, but Kit doesn't play favorites between the two. Let alone with so many others in the office to take care of! But the little pet makes sure to acknowledge all the work these two put in for them! ;3

She upkeeps everyone's health records, making sure that everyone takes STI testing monthly (on the company's dime) to make sure Kit is safe and healthy for themself and everyone who uses them. Since she does so much work centered around Kit, she feels very entitled to them.

He is arguably the one whom Kit has the closest relationship with. Dean is a teaser, and is responsible for the variety of outfits Kit wears. The office doesn't hire too often, so Melanie’s job is more maintaining smooth operations.

Being the office manager, Dean is Kit's primary caretaker. He comes in every day, or organizes for someone else, to wake them up, feed them, clean them, make sure they're exercising, and change out their outfits so Kit is up to date for holidays and parties.
